Description
This IBM Redbooks residency will focus on creating a publication which addresses the need for a filed guide, including best practice suggestions and a reference architecture, to follow when deploying IBM Storage Scale in an cloud based environment.
This publication will include the following items:
- Scale deployment on public and private cloud
- A Reference architecture
- Protocol node configuration on cloud
- AFM use case information
- Cloud Bursting/burst processing use case information
- Containerization of Scale
- Scale/cloud and compute/storage connectivity
- Deployment suggestions and best practices related to a cloud based deployment
Starts 16 March 2026, ends 29 May 2026, and requires 8 residents
