Description
In this project we will create a focused guide to maximizing FlashSystem performance through key configuration and tuning techniques. This is a remote project, with participants working part-time to create this Redbooks. Communication with the development team will occur via Slack. Also, weekly status meetings will be held. Some of the topics that we will cover in this book are: FlashSystem Performance Fundamentals, Workload-Specific Tuning, Drives, RAID, and Arrays, Volume Configuration for Performance, Networking and Multipathing Optimization, I/O Grouping and Volume Placement, Performance Monitoring and Analysis and Workload Migration.

Resident Prerequistes
A basic requirement for all residents is the ability to read and clearly express concepts and procedures in common English.
This residency will be made up of a team of individuals whose combined product skills and experience will cover the areas listed in the skills requirement section of this announcement. Candidates will be selected so that the combined skills of all the team members will provide the in-depth skills and experience necessary to produce this IBM Redbooks publications. It is not expected that candidates are experts all these topics but at a minimum they should have hands-on skills with FlashSystem performance tuning.
