Benefits to Resident

IBM Redbooks want technical practitioners to be recognized for their newly gained knowledge, experience, and accomplishments. Therefore, upon successful delivery of the publication produced by this IBM Redbooks residency, you will become eligible to earn an IBM Redbooks Digital Badge issued through Credly.

The residents in this project will be working closely with watsonx development and product management teams.

Objectives

To create the following Redbooks (100 to 150 pages each. Titles of the books are subject to change):

- Simplify Your AI Journey: Practical Use Cases for IBM watsonx.ai

- Simplify Your AI Journey: Practical Use Cases for IBM watsonx.data

- Simplify Your AI Journey: Practical Use Cases for IBM watsonx.governance

Resident Prerequistes

A basic requirement for all residents is the ability to read and clearly express concepts and procedures in common English.

Remote/Part-Time Residency Program Details

This project offers a remote and flexible residency program ideal for authors with busy schedules.

This residency will be made up of a team of individuals whose combined product skills and experience will cover the areas listed in the skills requirement section of this announcement. Candidates will be selected so that the combined skills of all the team members will provide the in-depth skills and experience necessary to produce this IBM Redbooks publications. It is not expected that candidates are experts all these products.

Residency Structure:

- Duration: 7 weeks (total)

- Work Schedule: Flexible working days and hours

- Weekly status meetings (30 minutes) - attendance encouraged, but status updates can be provided to the project leader beforehand if unable to attend.

- Dedicate a minimum of 2 weeks (not necessarily consecutive) to actively work on the project to complete all assigned tasks and contributions.
