Abstract
This paper is an update to chapter 7 of the IBM Redbooks publication SG24-6883. It provides guidelines and recommendations for installing WebSphere Portal V4.2 software components in a Linux for zSeries environment both with and without Setup Manager, the software installer provided with WebSphere Portal and supported by IBM .
